~Happy Fall, Ya'll~

Hallween cards are made.. and mailed.. Thanksgiving one's are in the process.. as are the Christmas ones! WOW.. tearing out half the pages in my address book has really allowed me to cut down on who I send cards to.. in turn making it easy to make and send them! Just kidding.. Make a handmade card and send it out .. doesn't have to be a holiday.. just let someone know your thinking of them.. Don't forget, if you took the time to embellish them, then take the extra few cents and have them hand stamped by the post office. It will save your card from getting snagged in the machine! I also add a piece of padding to my cards, can be flat style bubble wrap.. or even the padding that you line your kitchen cabinets with! ..... Happy Holidays!~

Hot Air Balloon

These cards were so much fun to make because they were so simple and could be altered to have different looks with different color ink, ribbon and cardstock. The Hot Air Balloon  is a Michael's  $1.00 stamp. The Pattern paper are scrap pieces.. Save those SCRAPS! Add a little remnant piece of ribbon and a phrase/saying and you have a great card!

It's a Jungle out there!

I just finished this cute Jungle themed layout for a friend of the family. I think it turned out pretty cute. I loved using my crimper.. one of those tools that you might have, but you forgot about! The animals are raised with pop dots and the background is stamped with leaves to give it a jungle feel. Hope you like!~

GYPSY on it's way!

Well.. almost... You see,  a year ago I received the Gypsy for Christmas. I was so excited about getting this product because I have seen up close what this little piece of electronics can do. I linked it, registered it and had problems with it ever since. I honestly put it in a drawer and put it out of my mind. With encouragement from a friend, you know who you are, I called the help line and found out that there were a few of the Gypsy's that were not properly working and they could be sent back within the first year under warranty. So I am happy to announce that within 2-3 weeks I will have a brand new Gypsy in my hands! I will be able to get the free downloads that my original Gypsy came with and FINALLY link all my cartridges to my Gypsy for good! I will update you when it arrives!

Stamp it.. Cricut it

It is so exciting to make a card that combines two of my favorite things, the Cricut and Stamping. The Cricut allows you to give the dimension to your project. Making the design stand out from the rest of the card. The stamping allows you to personalize with color, words and preferred placement. Adding ribbon or other paper embellishments finalizes the card turning it into a one of a kind design. So, don't forget to break out those stamps and combine them with your Cricut Cartridges !
